SCOOP ON SOIL GAME- (10 min. download, extract to your hard drive)-Play this game and learn how and why you should protect soil (or the stuff that's beneath your feet!). "Scoop on Soil" is an interactive computer game designed for late elementary and middle school aged children. The game is narrated by “Claude,” an animated clod of soil who introduces concepts about the importance of soil in our every day lives. Claude discusses scientific concepts about how soil is created, how it erodes, and what different critters live in the soil. The game also introduces information about our dependence on soil for growing food and how important soil is to everyone. The game can be completed in about 10 minutes, but most users like to stay longer  to do what they can to protect the soil.
