2020 SUMMER TRAINING CONFERENCE & ANNUAL MEETING
The Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 has disrupted the lives of all Illinoisans and existing restrictions on public life currently in place which are aimed at reducing the spread of the Covid-19 virus prevents large in-person gatherings. The AISWCD Board of Directors considered these unique circumstances during a Special Meeting of the Board during May 2020, and taking into consideration the safety and well-being of all those involved in this event, withdrew plans to host this year’s Summer Training Conference while also proceeding with an electronic Annual Meeting to fulfill the basic requirements of the Association and its charitable Foundation’s governing by-laws, both.
